This site is under construction so sorry if its a bit rough round the edges......I hope what is here helps you.

About THESE PAGES:

They are designed to help you when taking your theory and practical test and offer advice to help with your lessons. Mainly aimed at the Canterbury area but I'm sure will be useful if your taking your test elsewhere. Pointing you in the direction of some of the best official and unofficial sites.

Why not do the test on this video and see how good your observations are.

Before you start learning to drive you have to have a provisional driving licence.

Bring both parts with you to your first lesson.

While your learning to drive you can practice for your theory test (see below)

To take the practical driving test you must show you can drive safely in different road and traffic conditions, know the highway code and can show this through your driving ability. As long as you show the standard required, you’ll pass your driving test.

There’s no minimum or maximum number of driving lessons you must have or hours you must practice driving before you take your test. There are no pass or fail quotas.

Theory Test:

The theory test is in two parts.
50 multiple choice questions you need 43/50 to pass.
14 Hazard Perception clips 44/75 to pass.
The test is taken at the Theory test centre in Canterbury. (map below)
